The Saint Joseph’s University Sports Marketing Club (SMC) creates value for students by reinforcing information taught in the classroom.

In monthly meetings, guest speakers who are leaders in the sports community, give a lecture on how they were able to reach their current position and how students should navigate the global sports industry. This combination allows our members to learn from the very best and gain a realistic understanding of what a career in sports entails. Most importantly, students’ network with these professionals in order to make connections and gain valuable internship experience that is essential in today’s competitive landscape.

Members of our club gain the knowledge, skills and experience that will create well-rounded graduates who can succeed in leadership positions in the today’s global sports industry.
