Our Mission

The SJU Club Tennis group is a competitive team in the Middle States Section of the USTA (United States Tennis Association). We are a co-ed group that aims to have fun both on and off the courts. Our goal is to encourage are hawks to continue improving their game by playing competitive tennis throughout their college careers while also forming close bonds with their teammates. Are tryouts are taken place on the Merion side of campus (Up the hill from O’Pake Fitness Center) in the beginning of the fall semester and welcome anyone to come. But usually everyone makes the team! During each season we take a certain amount of students to compete in tournaments where it’s fun and really competitive.
