Maria Paratore, 2019

Hometown: Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Majors: International Business and Italian

Minors: Justice and Ethics in the Law

Maria Paratore is currently a sophomore and serves as the President for the International Business Society (IBS). She is an International Business and Italian double major with a Justice and Ethics in the Law, minor. Her family alone is pretty diverse as her father is Sicilian, her mother is Greek, and she is Chinese. Because of this, she has always been fascinated with all things international. Maria is very excited about her role on the Executive Board and cannot wait to grow IBS and promote its main purpose: to provide a variety of events promoting cultural exposure, networking, and community services to the SJU community. In addition to IBS, Maria is also President of the Italian Club, involved in Hand-in-Hand, and a committee member of SJU Dance Marathon. In the future, Maria plans to study abroad in Rome this summer and again in the Spring of 2018 and eventually wants to be a criminal justice attorney.
