Who Are We?
Hand-in-Hand is an organization that hosts an annual spring carnival held at Saint Joseph’s University. Our mission is to spread awareness, increase interaction, and create unity among the Saint Joseph’s University community and people with disabilities.
Founded by George Carasiti in 1976, Hand in Hand is one of America’s longest running student service activities and is the largest program hosted by Saint Joseph’s students. Since it was founded, the Hand in Hand festival has received much recognition for its excellence in serving the disability community. We have approximately 1,000 buddies, friends, and volunteers that participate each year.
Come join us on Hawk Hill April 13th, 2019 as we celebrate Hand in Hand’s 43rd anniversary!
