SJU Collegiate Challenge

We are excited to begin planning for 2018 and are looking for enthusiastic participants to join our leadership team this year to make Collegiate Challenge 2018 the best one yet!

The success of Collegiate Challenge comes from having motivated, creative, and determined leaders. As a leader, you are required to plan, organize, and bring a group of individuals together to make a difference in someone’s life. Being a Collegiate Challenge leader is an eye-opening experience that can be challenging but rewarding. If you are considering a trip leadership position, here is the link to the online:

CC2018 Trip Leader Application

Applications will be due by Friday October 6th. Leader interviews will be October 11-16th, and the trip leaders will be selected within the next few weeks!

SJU’s Collegiate Challenge is a summer service immersion program affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International. The program began in the summer of 2004 with a single trip of 16 students to New Mexico and has grown each year since.  Collegiate Challenge at SJU goes beyond the physical labor of the service project.  It allows students to develop a greater understanding of another culture within the United States, as well as grow intellectually and spiritually.  It challenges students to fulfill the Jesuit Ideal of being a man or woman with and for others in my day to day life.
