Section II. The members of the Executive Board shall include:

  • President, Chief Executive Officer
    • Preside over meetings of the organization.
    • Ability to appoint members and chairpersons of all committees.
    • Serve on the Business Leadership Council.
    • Call special meetings of the membership.
    • Initiate programs and projects he/she deems necessary.
    • Represent the best interest of the organization in all interactions with affiliated organizations, University administration and community.
    • Lead organization is all activities and will be an active force in acquiring guest speakers.
  • Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer
    • Represent the best interest of the organization in all interactions with affiliated organizations, University administration and community.
    • Lead organization is all activities and will be an active force in acquiring guest speakers.
    • Carry out the duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her by the President.
    • Define all duties and responsibilities to the Vice presidents and provide any assistance to the Vice Presidents in fulfillment of their duties.
  • Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer
    • Responsible for maintaining all club funds.
    • Responsible for submitting requests to and attending SBAC meetings.
    • Lead organization is all activities and will be an active force in acquiring guest speakers.

 

  • Vice President of Education
    • Responsible for coordinating a minimum of two training seminars, per semester.
  • Vice President of Student Relations
    • Primarily responsible for keeping an accurate number of active members.
    • Responsible for student recruitment on campus.
    • Responsible for keeping accurate attendance at all meetings.
    • Responsible for keeping a “Resume Book” of all Society members.
  • Vice President of Publicity
    • Responsible for updating the club’s social media.
    • Posts about past and future events on Facebook, Linkedin, & club website.
    • Take pictures at each event.
    • Responsible for producing one newsletter per quarter.
  • Vice President of Marketing
    • Responsible for marketing any and all Finance Society events.
    • Responsible for making and distributing flyers for events.
    • Responsible for promoting the club at Activities fair and other table events.
    • Works directly with the VP of Publicity
  • Vice President of External Affairs
    • Responsible for coordinating a minimum of one field trip event, per semester.
  • Vice President of Philanthropy
    • Responsible for coordinating a minimum of one meaningful service event, per semester.
  • Director of Women in Finance
    • Responsible for planning events centered are women working in the finance industry.
