About

The Saint Joseph’s University Ice Hockey team was founded in 1971 by Finbarr O'Connor. The team has been a mainstay on Hawk Hill since its inception, winning numerous championships over the past 51 years.

The Hawks compete in the Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League (ACCHL) as members of the "Capitol" Division. The team plays a 25-30 game schedule, and practices at the Haverford Skatium on Monday and Wednesday nights.

Our program is led by a highly skilled coaching staff, who all are Hawk Hockey alumni. All three of our coaches were also the captain of the program at one point in their careers. They are truly dedicated to providing the same type of positive and competitive culture that they were lucky enough to be a part of as players. We recently won our first ACCHL Capitol Division Championship and ACCHL Regular Season Championship, and are looking to build on our recent success.

Our coaching staff is actively looking for prospective players who want to be a part of our championship culture. If you are interested in learning more about the Hawk Hockey family, please fill out the recruiting form listed above.
