Adopt a Pop
A program at the Loyola Infirmary (Jesuit Residence) that involves regularly visiting a retired Jesuit on a weekday afternoon at a mutually arranged time, for a half an hour to an hour. Available times are M/W/F between 3 and 5PM or Tues/Thurs between 2 and 5PM.

Keystone Hospice
Volunteer responsibilities include: Providing companionship to the patient; Reading to the patient or suggesting other activities; Giving emotional support and reassurance to the patient, caregivers or family; Providing pastoral support to the patient; Providing support to the staff by helping maintain the upkeep of keystone. Back on My Feet
Build community with people who are experiencing homelessness by meeting with them for weekly morning runs/walks. All fitness capabilities are welcome - you do not have to be a runner! Transportation provided. Wednesdays 5AM-7:30AM.

A service opportunity with the African Catholic Community of the Phila Archdiocese. Middle and HS students, working in collaboration with SJU tutors, engage learners to increase academic success by assisting with homework tutoring. Wednesdays 3:15-5:30PM.

Saint Joseph’s University student volunteers will tutor Philadelphia high school students in at least one of the following subjects: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
