Discussion Series

A poll sent out at the end of the Fall 2016 semester determined 5 topics students are interested in discussing.  We will be holding a discussion series addressing each of the top 5 topics.  The topics are:

  1. Healthcare - February 8, 2017
  2. Education - March 1, 2017
  3. Job Creation / Unemployment - March 22, 2017
  4. Marginalization and Discrimination - April 12, 2017
  5. Women's Reproductive Health - April 26, 2017

Come join the Social Justice Network in a discussion about Healthcare in the United States.  This is one of the most pressing issues on the minds of many adults in the U.S.  Come discuss the complexities of the issue of the Affordable Care Act and ideas about repeal, and revisions.

The broad topic of "Education" tied with "Healthcare" as the topics students were most interested in discussing.  Help us understand what specifics areas of education you are most interested in discussing.
