Office of Public Safety

The Office of Public Safety & Security is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in Barbelin 13. If there is an active situation, or if you are seeking immediate assistance, you should contact the office by phone: at 610-660-1111. In the event of an emergency, you should dial 911.

Office of Community Standards

The Office of Community Standards supports expectations designed to promote a safe, respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment, in which all students can learn, grow and become moral leaders in their communities. If you would like to report an incident during business hours, you can contact the Office of Community Standards via email (communitystandards@sju.edu), phone (610-660-1046), or through Starfish to schedule an appointment.

 

Office of Resident Life

For residential students, reports can be made to the Office of Residence Life (including professional staff members and student resident assistants). Each residential area has a Residential Area Manager and Resident Assistants who are there to assist members of the residential community. To report a concern to the Office of Residence Life, you can contact a Resident Assistant, Residential Area Manager, or the Central Office (in LaFarge Residence Center).

 

Student Health Center

The Student Health Center strives to assist students in the pursuit of their academic goals and personal development by identifying and addressing health situations which impede student learning. This mission is served by the provision of high quality health care as well as health promotion that facilitates the development of the whole person.

 

Title IX and Equity Compliance

Saint Joseph’s University is committed to providing a safe and non-discriminatory learning, living, and working environment for all members of the University community. The Office of Title IX and Equity Compliance has primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and University policies, processes, and protocols related to all forms of harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, gender and interpersonal violence, retaliation and hazing.
