Protégé Profile: Kelly Nguyen

Meet Kelly Nguyen, our treasurer protégé! Kelly is a junior from Plymouth Meeting, PA that is double majoring in Actuarial Science and Economics with a dual minor in Data Science and Mathematics.

Having an interest in racial, gender and income inequality, Kelly is an active member of the SJU community. When she is not serving as the protégé to the treasurer, she is the president of the Rotaract Club, the treasurer of Active Minds, a peer mentor for the Actuarial Science Club and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Program. Kelly is very passionate about what she does and the issues that affect the world around her. From her experiences on WLI and in the various other organizations she’s involved with, Kelly hopes to combat these inequalities, be an active member in these conversations and work to empower others.

Her activity and accomplishments on campus are admirable and invaluable. After graduation, Kelly wants to hone in on her skills and become a credentialed actuary, one day possibly becoming a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in the future. She sees her time, experiences and connections made at SJU as empowering, motivating and irreplaceable.
