What is Professional Development Day?

Professional Development Day (PDD) is a day-long event that takes place on campus one Saturday in the spring semester, typically in March. Throughout the day, students attend presentations and interactive sessions on various topics related to professional development.  After these sessions, participants are provided lunch during which we host faculty, staff, administrators, alumni & corporate sponsors for networking opportunities.

Student participants represent a variety of majors, cohorts & experiences, and we strive to provide varied networking opportunities.

This event is open to students who identify as women, non-binary, and other gender-nonconforming identities in line with WLI's mission of preparing students for the professional world.
