Protégé Profile: Ava Culver

Welcome our new Vice President protege, Ava Culver! Ava is an International Business major and Business Intelligence minor from Middletown, Delaware. In addition to WLI, she is involved in the Asian Student Association, Art Club, and badminton! Ava joined WLI to be surrounded by a group of like-minded women who have big dreams, and who also strive to see women in leadership roles.  Social issues regarding equality for women and those in the LGBTQIA+ community are very important to Ava because she believes the world can be very hard for marginalized groups, and building equity is one of her passions.  So far, her favorite WLI event has been “Role Models” in November because of the panelists’ comments on what exactly got them into their positions and gave advice to women who might be in such positions in the future. In her bright future, Ava hopes to continue her passion for business and travel by working for a global company with a focus on supply chain management and operations. She says “I would highly recommend WLI because it is such an inclusive group of aspiring young women ready to take on the world together and to create a long-lasting impact on both member’s social and professional lives”.
